I’ve worked in the design industry for the last 10 years, focusing on UX design from March 2021. Design thinking and collaboration skills are brought from my fashion design and advertising background. I've been working as a UX designer since May 2021, having been self-employed at first and now working with a start-up. I am knowledgable in the UX process and can show this through my projects, you will also see my UI skills through this too.I use Figma in my position now, but I have experience with Adobe XD, Miro and Sketch.

I work with developers, designers, sales and marketing to make sure branding is on point across each department. I've interviewed candidates, overseen other designers and have been the champion for the user. I have experience in the full UX design process including the beginnings of research, iteration, paper and digital wireframes and to implementation. Throughout the design process, accessibility is a main focus.

Throughout my years in the creative industry I was taught, and put into practice, design thinking methods, as well as working with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

I completed the Google Professional Certificate in UX Design in August 2021 and have began working on projects locally. I’m always looking to improve my skills and have completed a certificate in HTML and CSS from FreeCodeCamp.
